Orchard Skateshop, Fast Life Wheels, and RAW are hosting a skate jam this Saturday, June 21st, at the Chinatown Courts in Boston for International Go Skateboarding Day. There's gonna be some ramps, contests, product tosses, and BBQ. Also, the jersey barrier given to Orchard for the Red Bull Jersey Barrier Video Contest will be set up for shredding.
Play some games of SKATE and rock out with your friends. Party starts at 1pm.
The Chinatown Courts are right near South Station in Boston, at the corner of Kneeland St & Lincoln St. See it on a map here.

The barrier he's ollieing was given to Orchard as part of the Red Bull Jersey Barriers Contest. Red Bull picked Orchard and 11 of the other best skate shops on the East Coast to participate in a contest to film the best trick on one of these barriers. There's gonna be a website going up soon where the public can vote on all the clips. On October 1st, the Redbull Team will vote on the top 5 clips, and the winning clip will get $3000 to split evenly between the skater, the shop, and the filmer.

]]>By the way, the park they're skating is Waldport, Oregon. When we were there last summer I must've done at least 200 laps in that outer snake run with the local groms; super fun. That cradle is also where Dave and Nate had one of the worst collisions I've ever seen.
Jahmal Williams, Jerry Fowler, and Joey Pepper — all legends of the Boston skate scene — are taking an already amazing lineup of dudes through the roof! We can’t express how honored we are to have these long-time friends of the shop officially on board.
And if that weren’t enough Boston shredders with J as their first initial, we’d also like to welcome Jeff Valcourt and his giant ollies to the team.
To make everything proper and official, we’ve updated the team section of the site. Each dude now has their own page, including Fritz Mead and Lurker Lou — both of which are amazing skaters who have gone too long without formal representation in the team section of the site.
