Our beloved hometown was attacked by terrorists at the Boston Marathon just a few weeks ago.
These horrible events have effected our entire city on many levels, and now we push to rise above and recover from this tragedy.
In the spirit of helping our fellow Bostonians we have teamed up with other Boston skate/lifestyle shops and brands to organize a unified benefit event.
This event is called "One Big Push" and will happen on Saturday night May 11th from 7-10PM, at The North Star bar near the Boston Garden.
We will be raising funds with a mega product raffle and a silent auction for artwork/limited pieces. 100% of proceeds raised from the raffle and auction will go to the victims of the bombings. A portion of the evening's food and drink sales will be donated as well.
The proceeds raised at this event will be split 50/50 between the One Fund Boston and the Bim Costello Recovery Fund. Bim is the brother of a key member of the Boston skate community, and was injured at the bombings.
Participating retailers, contributing brands and artists are listed below, and more will be added on as we get closer to the event.
This tragedy hit us all very close to home, and we are pooling our collective resources to help our neighbors in need.
We look forward to seeing everyone out at the event!

Downeaster Art Show featuring work by Rocco Hodgdon & Joey Pepper, longtime friends who grew up skateboarding together in Maine.
Rocco is the proprietor of Death or Glory Tattoos in Westbrook ME, and makes one of a kind, hand painted wood cutouts heavily influenced by tradtional tattoo imagery.
Joey Pepper is a professional skateboarder for Expedition-One Skateboards, and creates sculptural lighting pieces made entirely from solid wood.
Rigid geometry, organic fluidity, dark and light, are all forces which converge to create these lamps. Rather than getting caught up in manipulating something to be what it cannot be, these pieces embrace light's ability to filter through any given openings, silhouette the shade and highlight the base of the lamps.
Orchard team rider Eric Dasaro put out this part earlier this year in Cuong Ngo's "Grayscale" video.
Eric comes through with power, speed, and finesse, 3 things that make him one of our favorite skaters in Boston right now! The recent stuff that he has been filming for the new Orchard video has been amazing, great things are in this dude's future!
Support CN and pick up the video online here, or at the shop in Allston!
